The story starts in Georgia, where highly-trained black-ops agent Sam Fisher is sent to gather intelligence about disappearance of two CIA officers. Fisher finds that they are dead, and while investigating the case, he also finds out that genocide is in place in neighbouring Azerbaijan. Georgian president is behind these mass murders as he wants to take over the oil reserves of the neighbouring country. When NATO intervenes, the president goes into hiding however, using an advanced computer hack he causes huge damage to US electronic infrastructure, causing an information crisis. Further Fisher discovers that a nuclear bomb has been placed on the US soil. As a Splinter Cell, Fisher must stop at nothing to infiltrate high-security strongholds, seize critical intelligence, destroy threatening data, and neutralize the enemyall without leaving a trace. 3D stereoscopic view is also available for 3D-enabled TVs.
