The Book of Fredley is an adventure game set in a dark and mysterious town. Fredley is a young boy who lost his soul along with his best friend. His tome is in pieces and it's pages scattered, it's Fredley's last hope for his normal life back. Explore the town of Humberbumpton in it's retro style, simple controls and a spooky/silly tone. Pickup keys and other collectables to unlock doors or buff Fredley to change the dynamics of the game. Fredley is not a fighter; a lot of scary things are out there in and outside of Humberbumpton. Sneak past wandering foes and avoid getting spotted, or throw a few firecrackers to scare pursuing enemies. If all else fails, find the nearest hole and hunker down. Talking to the various children around the area is a good way to gain some insight and maybe even an upper hand. But they look so tasty... The choice is yours, will you consume the souls of the innocent to satiate your hunger? Or show mercy and release them for the greater good and maybe a nice shiny key? TBoF has 7 Unique areas to explore; each more expansive then the previous one. Numerous enemies with varied attributes and quirks, and different reasons for wanting to beat up Fredley.
