During the first six months of the launch of the Nintendo Switch, its sales were higher than that of the PS4 in Japan. To be more specific, more than 1.5 million units were sold in the said country since the release. While the sales of the PS4 came off strong at first, it dropped off after several weeks while the sales of the Nintendo Switch remained consistent even with the fact that there was a lack of availability and problem with the supply chain of the Switch. Even the company has confirmed that it has become their fastest selling console. One of the main reasons for its growing popularity is the fact that it is being offered at a cheaper price than other platforms, making it affordable to many.

On the other hand, not only do they have action and adventure games but they also have role playing, puzzle strategy, party, music, fitness, sports, racing and even simulation games. Apart from the games mentioned above, the company has also prepared a good lineup of games that would be released in the following months. In fact, new indie titles are released almost every week, and two big and exclusive titles are released every month, ensuring that the users would never run out of games to choose from. All in all, the Nintendo Switch have passed the expectations of the people who have purchased it. Although it cannot still compete with its competitors on the technical level, people were still able to enjoy great games without the need for them to break the bank.
