Final Recurrence is a first person horror game in which you play as Paul Brooke, a 21 years old newbie police officer that is searching for an 8 year old boy that was kidnapped from his house in 1999. The action takes place in 2001, two years after the initial kidnapping. Due to the unconcern of the police regarding this case, you and your two friends, Alex and Gabriel, decide to start your own investigation. Alex wakes you up to give some amazing news, they tracked down and pin-pointed the location of the car driven by the kidnapper: The Shepherd's Hill forest.

- Your main goal is finding Stephen and an exit out of the forest as soon as possible.
- Be careful to manage your stamina and sanity levels while searching for Stephen. The lower your sanity the more of an impact it will make during your gameplay.
- Solve puzzles and collect each note to grasp a wider understanding of the reasonings and events that occurred in the past.
- Be quiet and mind your surroundings, the test subjects can hear sounds through your microphone.
