The visual style of Mr.President! app may be crude, but it seems to suit the overall atmosphere quite well. Every character is designed to look as silly as possible, and the levels look like they have been taken directly from some of the Garry's Mod creations. In short: don't expect too much from it, and you won't be disappointed.

Gameplay 3/5

This game offers you a role of Dick "Rock-Hard" Johnson, a professional bodyguard. Your mission is to protect Ronald Rump, a presidential candidate with lots of enemies. This job supposes that you follow Rump around, always ready to catch a bullet, flipping, rolling, and jumping to save him from certain death. Of course, these leaps and rolls constitute the largest part of the fun you can extract from the Mr.President! gameplay, and the advanced ragdoll physics engine makes them especially funny.

However, catching bullets isn't the only kind of fun you can have here. Almost everything around is destructible, so many of your leaps will end up destroying half of the level. By the way, there are 50 different levels with varying assassination scenarios you have to disrupt. All in all, the game is great if you want to spend a couple of hours, headbutting presidential candidates and performing hilarious stunts with your character's ragdoll body.

Controls 3/5

While you don't really expect anything too comfortable from such game, the Mr.President! latest version's controls fail to live up even to those modest expectations. Usually clumsy ragdoll moves are outright sluggish here, and you need a lot of practice to learn how to move your character around if you actually want to save the President.

Replay Value 2/5

The game doesn't have any coherent plot, and it's just a series of silly assassination attempts you try to prevent. Once you've completed all of the levels, there's just nothing left to do, and playing them all once again seems pretty boring.

Mr.President! may not have great graphics or innovative gameplay, but it employs good old ragdoll physics to help you have a little bit of fun. Download Mr.President! and do your best to protect your candidate from being assassinated.
