Night Spasm is a typical action-adventure role-playing game, yet it is something you've never seen before. It is a game yet not a game. In single-experience social experiment fashion, you must lead a squad of underaccomplished heroes into a mysterious universe of incomprehensible societies, unhinged villains, and psychological challenges. The purpose and intentions behind Night Spasm are up to you... and your experience might be the savior or the bane of your life.
A MYSTERIOUS WORLD RIDDEN WITH TRIALS OF THE SOUL...
Establish a base under the command of a mysterious mage to restore The Island to its former glory. Take down the treacherous, ghostly philosopher known as Inevit to restore The Island, a universe made to CHEAT DEATH. Explore a vast open world as you befriend, rival, or even kill numerous characters who will alter your story one way or another. It does not matter how important someone is to the timeline. ANYONE CAN LIVE, ANYONE CAN DIE.
Fight countless battles through a turn-based yet hectic battle system accompanied by a banger soundtrack, composed by various indie artists across the internet (maybe you know some of them?). Utilize your physical, mental, and moral resources to either pacify or kill characters essential to the plot. Beware of who you slay... yet beware of who you support...
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SMALL DECISION...
Freedom comes and goes, but when the voice of choice calls your name, will you do the right thing? Will you bring purpose to the characters you care about? Doing the right thing is never easy. Unless, of course, your desire is to end the world. From destroying a kingdom's meat supply to joining a gang of talking scorpions, every choice, big or small, will certainly change the world.
