You do not need to tap any buttons to open it. There is a small menu at the bottom of the screen. To get more features, tap the icon that is located on the top left corner.

Most of the time app works great. It can show you even the shortest roads. It does not make your phone lag. However, to properly use the app, you need to enable the GPS signal. With its help, you can track your location. Maps app works properly on both Android and iOS platforms.

After you start the app, it will automatically detect your location. (GPS signal should be turned on). If that is possible, Maps - Navigation & Transit will allow you to “explore” your area. Swipe the “explore” button, and there you will be able to find restaurants, coffee, bars, parks, hotels, etc. You can also see the latest photos that were created by people in that area.

As for the icons, the “layer” icon (located at the top right corner) allows you to set the map type (default, satellite view, terrain views) and select map details (see the traffic, and public transportation). There is an icon that allows you to set a route. The app will ask you to select the starting point and the destination. Then it will show you the estimated time of traveling and the fastest way to do it.
