Lighting and shadows are amazing; characters and scenes look great. A lot of attention is paid to little details, for example, like with the small haze on the flickering sources such as torches and fireplaces. If you are a fan of isometric role-playing games, you’ll definitely love this one.

The gameplay of Pathfinder: Kingmaker is super smooth. It is modeled on the Pathfinder RPG and inspired by other famous classic RPGs. First of all, players are supposed to create their characters. The character creator is very expansive and has many options. It allows you to customize the character. Pathfinder: Kingmaker has a really interesting and appealing story. It has many locations to discover and explore. The game also has a focus on realm-building. Players have an opportunity to rule their own Kingdom and build new cities. One of the downsides, however, is that the game doesn’t help you to learn its system, which is a bit overwhelming. So you may have to visit some third party sites to learn how to play properly, as it is not intuitive.

And on top of that, a lot of things and quests are timed. The combat can also be challenging. But after some time of playing and getting used to things, the controls are quite good.

The multi-layered class and skill system allows players to create different setups and diverse characters with plenty of opportunities to role-play. You can make lots of difficult choices throughout the game, and all of them will have different longstanding repercussions. Companions with interesting backstories and multiple endings of the story make it very exciting.
