The application has a smooth design. It is made in a minimalistic style and uses light colors on the background and dark fonts. On the top of the screen, no matter what the window you have opened, you can find the Search bar. Below, there are the news sections, and you can switch between them, just moving your finger from right to left. Below each news, there are buttons for sharing in social media.

TopBuzz News collects the most important news from different big and trusted media. As it is an AI-powered application, TopBuzz News customized and personalized the news feed for each user based on their interest. Therefore, one of the most important features the application need to carry out is fast and convenient browsing. TopBuzz News analyzes not only your searching results but also the time you read the article, the likes, comments you write and other interactions with the news. Then, it forms the news feed, which you can find in the ‘For you’ tab.

Also, we like the way the application displays each news. It shows only the headline, the date, and the image. Due to this, you can quickly scan the feed. There are sections with the news in your area, the most popular videos, and the categories. What’s else, you can browse the most influential media and follow their Twitter without leaving the TopBuzz News app.

After the TopBuzz News review, we can say that the most powerful app’s feature is their approach to structure the news. It customizes the news feed, picks up only trusted and quality sources, shows you the local events, and has several featured channels. For example, GIFs, Funny, Sports, Politics, Science, and so on. Also, it has a video channel where you can browse the latest video, sort and filter them.

Both TopBuzz News Android and iOS versions are free of charge. But as the vast majority of free apps, TopBuzz News monetizes it with the advertising. Unfortunately, it is a default option, which you cannot switch off. There are no premium subscriptions or in-app purchases. A lot of users complain that the video ads displayed in TopBuzz News can even disrupt the music, which is played on the background on the same device.

The Bottom Line

TopBuzz News is a great news collector. It offers excellent tools for browsing and reading the articles. Moreover, the app can customize the news feed based on your interests. The usability and design are decent. Unfortunately, we did not have enough that the application does not have a night theme with dark colors. The light and bright colors can hurt the user’s eyes. Another minus is the annoying ads that you can’t switch off.
