The design is pretty generic. Nothing special just a real-time map of the world and different colored lines, which shows the trajectory of airplanes flight, departure, and destination point. The airplane is marked as a yellow sketchy drawing. Quite simply.

You will not see any smooth, bright colors or graphics there — all the pictures are very dull, serious and quite boring. But somebody may like its serious look.

Yes, that's certainly something new to have from the entertainment point of view, but nothing new for business people. The function to track airplanes was invented already and converted into the app of almost all existed airlines.

However, from the part of the entertainment – this is really something new. To be short, Flight Radar is a supplemented version of an already existing app. Nothing special yet might be useful on some occasions.

There is really a limited list of options. As for entertaining part, you may point your smartphone to the sky on the airplane, and you will see the information where is that airplane flying to, detailed photos, etc. That is an enjoyable and unique option. Also, you may track flights all over the world. But that's all from major functions. We are not sure whether this function is so vital and can be used more often than once a month. And only because Flightradar24 is free.

As for microtransactions you have a choice to buy Silver or Gold user pack that will include more information about the airplane which you examine. You may get information about flight altitude, what's the weather near the current airplane. Do you need that actually? Let's say, for the entertaining sake — maybe.
