Fly Delta is an app that has all the important information about incoming and current flights. It allows you to navigate your flight, be sure about your boarding tickets, and have some luxury on the board. Downloading Fly Delta is a good decision if you are planning a trip.

The interface of Fly Delta has a thing called Navigation Drawer. The developers claim that this option will improve your experience drastically. In fact, it is just a very convenient category filter with icons. Fly Delta has many problems, but it is undoubtedly designed properly, and we had no complaints about it while testing. Some buttons might be situated unexpectedly far and counter-intuitive though.

There are two main situations when you are going to use the Fly Delta application. The first is during your flight. It contains your boarding passes, and allows you to change the number of bags or a seat. The very useful option is to rebook the seats that have already been canceled. Moreover, there is a personal account with SkyMiles (bonus miles for regular clients) that you can navigate through and spend.

It is also possible to view the area around the airport, get to know the public transport system in a new place you have just arrived, order a taxi, etc. Feed section of this free Fly Delta application stays on guard of your flight’s recent changes, its course, and other itinerary details.

However, the app contains so many bugs, crashes, incomplete processes that it is extremely difficult to use, and not get annoyed. There are too many options useful in theory that the Fly Delta app cannot quite handle.

Fly Delta application can be proud of so many features. The list is very long, and we are going to mention only some of them. For example, you can watch your position on a standby list without actually be present there. Or you can get to Fly Delta lounges with a precise way description. When you are on board, it is really fun to watch your airplane moving in the sky on an interactive map.

In-app purchases – 5/5

Luckily, the FlyDelta app has no in-app purchases except for those that are directly related to the services of the airline. You will not encounter any ads in this application. However, people say in many Fly Delta reviews that while booking a ticket in the app, it is usual to face some crashes or resettings of your personal information.

The Bottom Line

Generally, the users are not satisfied with their experience in the Fly Delta Android application. It has too many problems which people do not want to solve. Surely, it is much easier to use a website than struggling with all incomplete parts of this app. Moreover, the size of installed Fly Delta is 53 Mb which is inappropriate for mobile apps with this set of options.
