When it comes to health, there should be no room for mistakes. The designers did their best to make the app readable, contrast, easy to figure out and to access critical sections. No matter if you need to contact a doctor urgently, or check your medication and nutrition logs, or get your prescription, or add new records – you can do it quickly. Still, there is some original approach in the flower-like round menu, sections being its sectors (or petals if you wish).

The mission of the app is both letting you connect doctors and track your health by yourself. As for the former, with this app you can appoint a meeting in a certain hospital with a certain doctor remotely. You can choose just the specialty or a certain person you attend. There is also a built-in video messenger for televisits.

With this app, you can access your cloud record and get results of the analysis, new records, and recommendations, appointments initiated by the doctor, scheduled visits, and so on.

As for self-care, the app has its own logs for nutrition and medication, with the built-in reminder. You won’t forget to take your pills, as Healow will alert you it’s time. The app also connects to various wearables and fetches their data, and then processes and stores it in your medical record. The advantage of it over even the native apps by developers is that you can easily discuss your results with your doctor and get recommendations, warnings, prescriptions, or just a pro’s opinion.

All that above can concern your family members just as you (except for, probably, wearables). You can have multiple accounts in one instance of the app, not having to have the app on any member’s device.

There is also a web version of Healow, available on its website. But if you use an Android or iOS device, the app works much better. It gets updates frequently, so don’t ignore them.

Well, the app itself is absolutely free. Of course, it doesn’t mean the services you get with it will be free too. On the contrary: the developers are paid from the medical budget. But they are doing a useful thing, because there are millions of users connecting the health system and tracking their activity with Healow.

If you care about your health at all and need to do something for its supporting, Healow is an absolute must. You can install it on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Its database is constantly updated and actualized, adding new doctors, hospitals and labs and removing inactive ones.
