When playing games, information is important.
If you are playing Klondike with an actual deck of cards, the information that you need to play intelligently is there but is really badly formatted. And all of the computer implementations of Klondike just copy the actual card game and don't fix the information problem. It is still really difficult to see what is going on and what you need to do.
This "re-imagined" Klondike doesn't change any of the rules of Klondike, it just adds the necessary visualization tools that you need to see what is really going on. It just re-formats the information content of the game in a way that you can use it.
And once you see what is actually going on in Klondike, all sorts of strategies become apparent (very often in delicate opposition to each other). Turns out Klondike is not the old boring solitaire that your parents played, but is a fascinating and rewarding game of strategy.
With the added visualizations, you should be able to start winning 30% of your games. When you get proficient with the strategies, you can maybe get close to a 50% winning rate.
And Klondike Re-Imagined has some very nice extra features that make the game easier, faster, and more enjoyable to play. Even when you just want a little pleasant diversion, you'll find this version of Klondike to be very rewarding.
