You can download Pizza Hut for iOS 10.0 or later and for Android 5.0 or later. Although it’s not compatible with some Android devices, like RedMi for example.

Design 3/5

Not a memorable design. It's got white and red brand colours, but the fonts aren't original. The pictures look photoshopped and often don't match the actual dish. But at least the menu looks good enough — it's visible, it's in one style and the icons are big with a good description. Overall, you won't be annoyed with the app's design, but it won't catch your attention. 

Usability 2/5

It’s a mystery how this app got 4.5 points of rating both on the App Store and Google Play. The main problem is that it can't remember your card or address details filled in before. So if some bugs occur (which they do), you'll have to start over with your order. It's good that this app can at least remember what you've ordered previously. The Hut Rewards® points system seems to work fine, and you don't even have to have a profile there and just use this app as a guest. The feature where you can order your pizza one week in advance seems to also work fine, but I wouldn't trust this app with it, considering its poor overall performance.

One of the coolest and more advanced features here is tracing your order's delivery. It's a bit slow and not 100% accurate, but still, it's fun to follow your pizza on its way to your place. Good luck with creating your own pizza as it's not going to work perfectly and it might take you a few tries before you succeed. You can often see errors happening, so you'll just have to order some boring regular pizza. Also, you can check out the Pizza Hut places near you and see their opening hours and contact information. 

In-app Purchases 3/5

Well, the purpose of this app is to purchase food. So you can do that through here and don't waste extra megabytes on going to their website. You can use your card, Android, or Apple Pay, and you can even pay with cash once your order is delivered.

The Bottom Line

This app would be so good if only it worked well. The idea is great — you can order food with it, create your own pizza, and track your order delivery, but the performance is what's missing. The app’s creators still have a lot of work to do, and it seems from Pizza Hut app reviews that they don’t react fast enough on their bugs. So use this app only if you’re a patient person.
