This is a modern implementation of classical Solitaire game that doesn’t have any analogs. It has everything a high-class time-killer for thinking people must have including style. Solitaire downloading is available for Wii U and Nintendo Switch.

Graphics 4.5/5

There are tens of solitaire versions on the market, but this picturesque piece of code is one of the best for sure. It provides different table skins, high-resolution textures and very smooth animations of card movements. Each skin provides its own atmosphere. You have a choice of four basic tables, such as a classic green cloth, sandy beach, casino table and a traditional chinese tea room. Try all of them to find the best.

Gameplay 5/5

Surprisingly, Solitaire is basically a single-player card game. It has several modes to match preferences of different players. It is believed that the most classic mode (and actually the most popular with players worldwide) is Klondike. However, if you don’t enjoy it, you may try out such modes as Spider and FreeCell. The aim of all three types of Solitaire is quite the same. Your primary task is to set all cards in a specific order to make as few moves as possible. The complete set must contain all cards arranged starting with an Ace and ending with a King of any suit.

Unlike the vast majority of virtual time-killers, Solitaire requires a very thoughtful approach to the whole process. It’s quite difficult to get its principals if you haven’t had any card game experience before. However, you may choose an appropriate level of difficulty to get accustomed to the strict rules of this game. The better you understand it, the more pleasure you get.

Controls 5/5

This Solitaire review is for Nintendo Switch, and I must say that controls on this console’s touch-screen are perfect. You just have to tap, drag and drop cards to move them. Response time is fully insensible, and physics of cards are brilliant, so you won’t face any bugs or misplacing of cards. However, if you don’t enjoy touch controls, you can switch configuration mode to gamepad and move cards with sticks and buttons.

Replay Value 4.5/5

Unfortunately, this Solitaire game has no arcade story mode or special daily challenges, but it’s a very unfair cavil to classics. This game is almost endless for a single human being. It’s just impossible to manage to solve all short combinations. If you are bored with constant fighting against your own scores, just join the worldwide community or your friends to compete. Such approach to Solitaire is much more motivating.

Conclusion

Solitaire is a classic card puzzle game that is a must-have for all fans of difficult gamifies tasks. It’s almost endless and provides 3 different modes with selectable levels of difficulty. The most exciting feature of this Solitaire version is sharing of personal statistics worldwide to see is there someone better and to beat him or her with a new world high-score. Don’t be to self-assured, because the world is full of pro-players.
