NBA 2K20
NBA 2K20 is a basketball simulation video game, based on the National Basketball Association (NBA). You can download NBA 2K20 for many platforms including Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
Graphics 4/5
The graphics of NBA 2K20 are not any different from the 2K19 version of the game, maybe just a bit smoother. However, this time it seems slightly slower than it was before. The first thing you notice is that it takes forever just to connect after you download. When you get into the game, even on a high-end computer, it runs with latency. All in all, the graphics could really use a new engine, as they start to look a bit of old age.
Gameplay 4/5
NBA 2K20 is a video game that simulates basketball, just like all the previous games in the series. It realistically depicts the National Basketball Association. You usually play NBA games with real-life or customized players and teams. All the games subject to the rules and objectives of NBA games. There are some modes in the game and many settings can be customized. NBA 2K20 offers a career mode where you can create your own customizable basketball player and play during their basketball career. This mode features a storyline. It plays out as you compete in games as well as off-court activities.
Besides this, there are also MyGM, MyLeague and MyTeam game modes. However, just like with the graphics, the game appears a bit slow and there are some bugs. For example, after you choose your position, ratings, etc, then you save your player, and when you go to load it, you may get something else. The player may turn out with a completely different ability.
Controls 4/5
The controls in NBA 2K20 do not differ from controls in the previous versions. But for some reason, there are a lot of bugs that can spoil your gaming experience. For example, the menus do not always work. Especially when simply trying to exit. You Hit A and nothing happens. You have to minimize and then close the application and restart. Or when you're building a player, sometimes it will let you choose what he looks like and sometimes it'll just send you straight to ability making.
Replay Value 4/5
NBA 2K20 is full with content and the replay value is pretty high. All the game modes give the ability to create custom players, teams, arenas, uniforms and dynasties. The game offers loads of options and settings for my league and players and more. However, those who play the game online may finish it and then it crashes making them replay that game all over, which is not very good.
The Bottom Line
All in all, the NBA 2K20 graphics and animations are on point and very well done. This game gives you the feeling of being in a real NBA game with lots of immersion and a great deal of content. The game feels and plays really well.
Various interesting modes available;
Lots of content.
