- In Campaign mode, you will be fighting increasingly difficult waves of space debris throughout the galaxy, by crafting a space station consisting of blocks and various panel types (weaponry, defences, and a myriad of other structural components) - in real-time - earning credits and resources to further expand and upgrade your creation.
- Earn Boosts from each runthrough to augment your future playthrough experiences.
- A Creative mode will be available to craft your perfect space station without the looming threat of annihilation .
Economy and statistics are important elements in Orbitect:
- Design choices are informed by your available credits. Destroy more debris, earn more credits to spend.
- Panels have numerous statistics associated with them; strength, defence, speed and efficiency. Upgrade these by collecting resources dropped by destroyed debris.
- Debris has differing characteristics in terms of mass, metallicity and explosiveness. These will inform your station design choices in order to survive.
