7 Days to Die
7 Days to Die is an interesting survival-horror game that is available for download for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, macOS, Linux, Windows, and Mac OS platforms. Unfortunately, the game is not free to download and is still in the Early Access. It was released in 2013 by The Fun Pimps Entertainment. It is an open-world game, so you will be able to explore the map and make a camp anywhere you want. 7 Days to Die allows players to team-up. There is a cooperative game mode available, so you can survive with friends!
Graphics 4/5
7 Days to Die graphics are not great, especially if you take into account the age of the game. However, the animation effects and models are nicely detailed. There are a lot of different locations that look completely different (deserts, forests, cities, etc.). However, some textures might look blurred. In addition, the game is poorly optimized. Some players might experience various bugs or performance problems.
Gameplay 4/5
As it was already mentioned, you can play 7 Days to Die with your friends. You can start the game on the same server, but it might be complicated to find each other. You do not know the location around you at the beginning of the game. In addition, you will have to meet each other with the help of the coordinates.
There is no certain plot in 7 Days to Die. The goal is simple – you have to survive for as long as you can. While playing, you will have to find food and different medicaments. In addition, players can craft weapons or find different guns and assault rifles in the game. Every 7 days you will have to protect your shelter because big waves of zombies will try to kill you. In addition, you should monitor your temperature and the indicator that shows you how thirsty you are. It sometimes might be hard to find water. In addition, you will be able to change clothes in order to maintain the temperature of your body.
Controls 5/5
7 Days to Die controls are pretty simple and common for first-person games. It is easy to control the character and perform all the actions that will help you to stay alive. However, sometimes you will need to decide and move fast, especially when there are a lot of zombies who are trying to kill you. You will have to swiftly move your crosshair and attack them in order to survive.
Replay Value 4/5
You will enjoy playing the game, especially if you are a fan of survival-horror games. However, it might become boring in case you play alone and have already survived more than 200 days.
The Bottom Line
7 Days to Die is a fun game that has a lot of interesting game mechanics. The graphical effects are not bad. However, sometimes the optimization might make it uncomfortable to play the game. Nevertheless, you can play 7 Days to Die with your friends.
We definitely recommend you to download 7 Days to Die because it is a nice and gripping game. You will enjoy it if you are a fan of zombie games. Thank you for paying attention to this 7 Days to Die game review.
