Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan is an action game based on popular anime with the same name. The PlayStation offers to join in the battle for humankind’s destiny between angry Titans and Eren with his allies. Instead of observing it, Attacks on Titan downloading takes you to an actual fight and ability to change the story.
Graphics 5/5
Developers of the game decided to go with their own interpretation of famous anime Attack on Titan, which is based on manga comics books. This means, the graphics stick to the whole anime-manga concept and are well-drawn and bloody.
Action scenes from anime came to life in the game. The picture is very detailed, keeping up with the speed pace of every move. The bloody massacre of man-eating monsters, called Titans looks realistic enough to make restrictions under 18 years old.
Gameplay 5/5
Titans destroy everything they see and eat anyone they found. People who survived are seeking revenge for their deceased families and friends. This is when Eren with the company decided to join their forces with the military to kill monsters for good. The scenario is written strictly in accordance with the original manga. It is unique, fresh, and all dreadful bloodbaths are justified.
You can pick one character that you like: Eren, Mikasa, Levi, Armin. All of them has strengths like Armin is a strategist, Levi is more fighter than a tactician, Eren is a born leader. In some campaigns, you may pick one of 10 characters to play for. During the game you may find new friends, some of them will help you with supplies or even join you in the battle. Well, don’t get attached to them, once Titans get to you, these volunteers will be eaten first.
In this Attack on Titan review, we must warn you about nakedness. Yeah, the question of unexpected and well… unexplained nakedness of Titans is still hanging in the air. Be ready to slash their naked bodies piece by piece. Most Titans can be killed from behind, by cutting off their heads. Main bosses will have stronger necks. You may start with cutting legs and arms, and switch to the head. Anyway, it looks really bloody and messy. If you no longer feel bloodthirsty, go to the side missions and save peaceful settlers from villages attacked by Titans.
Controls 4/5
You need to practice before you can kill one of the giants. Controls are intuitive. There may be a lot of combos of targeting, swinging and actually cutting the neck off. The moves are very fast, and if you don’t follow the rhythm, you will be eaten. Once you learn, your character will be running and jumping so fast as if you are flying.
In battles it’s better not stop gaining speed and constantly hitting button attack, trying to make as much damage as it is possible. Once you jumped on Titan don’t hesitate, climb to the neck and execute, otherwise, you will fall down. The message on the screen will notify you why you have failed, read it and learn your mistakes.
Replay Value 4/5
One average campaign can take up to 15 hours of your time. You have to kill Titans and pass levels. During the game, you may want to save people you meet from the monsters, and it will take some time as well. After the mission is complete, you will want to come back to the game and try to save everyone you met.
You can also change characters and concentrate on killing more Titans or in a more exquisite way. After anime story is over, you receive a chance to write your own. And remember that you can always change the road you go and discover the map.
Conclusion

There are some minor gaps in the game, like weird nakedness or advanced navigation that need be learned during the first few hours. Meanwhile, it is a real gem for everyone who loves action anime, a sophisticated scenario in the game and motivated characters.
