The graphics are beautiful, coming with a great choice of tracks sounding nice. The animation is well-done with a detailed, bright environment and adorable creatures known as Magnus.

The gameplay is rather complicated, but it brings a lot of fun. You will navigate a hero being washed ashore to Vokka Island. You can customize the appearance of this character, choose his gender, clothes. Create your own protagonist with the haircut and color of the eyes you want. When he explores the environment, he develops.

This brave character has lost his memories and does not remember the details of his past. The town mayor on this island provides him with a farm, and he has to start from the beginning and get involved into farming, fishing, crafting and raising the animals. First, he will tame the wild creatures, feed them and then train. You will live just as you could in real life, planting crops and harvesting them in order to earn your living. Sometimes, you have to defend your land.

The combat system is rather advanced, providing you with various abilities. You can use any weapons like bow, double blades, or magic wand. It is possible to switch them any moment you want, even in the heat of the fight. You can choose any tactics, attack or protect yourself.

But the most important and engrossing mission in this game is taming. The creatures are known as Magnus and appear randomly at any moment. Any single Magnus can be tamable, but you will find it rather difficult to do. Start with offering the food they prefer and be patient. If you are lucky and skilled enough, you will find the different types of Magnus. They can even fight with each other. And at the same time, they can help you with your farm and when you travel around.

This Re:Legend review has described the key activities of the title, but there are a lot of side tasks, challenges and puzzles to solve. There is an interesting social system with attractive non-player characters who will interact with you. Even a romantic relationship is possible with them.

The controls are very simple, and almost any action can be performed with the displayed menu. Just choose the option you need to activate it. The game is based both on the controller and keyboard. Left- and right-clicking the mouse is the simple way to come against and carry out attacks.

The replayability is rather high due to different levels of customizations, numerous creatures appearing from nowhere and plenty of weapons. At the early stage of the game you should find resources and make weapons of four types. The more you play, the more power you get.
