Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a fresh new space arcade with one big mission to save the Universe from wicked Grax and his Forgotten Legion. The player is leading the team of experienced space pilots on the Star Wolf mission, and the whole Galaxy depends on them and how quickly you can download Starlink: Battle for Atlas. No pressure.

Graphics 5/5

Graphics are really good. This is no surprise for space arcades mix with shooters, probably. The heroes look very real, and starships… well, they are the reason we all have gathered here.

During the game, you can upgrade or change different starships, match and mix pilots, choose new deadly weapons. Everything looks extremely classy and a little bit like Starship Troopers, which is actually an ancient (1997) but a legendary movie.

If you feel tired from one view, go and explore 7 unique planets in Atlas Star System. It will take some time, but it is totally worth it. Discover new worlds. And never skip cutscenes, they are brilliant!

Gameplay 5/5

Developers made everything to underline a toys-to-life aspect of this game. They added action figures, real starship, map, and other stuff into the box. But that is not what makes Starlink: Battle for Atlas great.

First of all, this game is a high-class space shooter. Second of all, it has Star Fox theme in it. Third, they created an interesting Atlas System to explore.

Besides all of that, they have amazing well-written characters in it and well-crafted spaceships you can navigate. The game is a combination of 3rd person shooter, space exploration, and RPG. Follow the main line or go to side missions just to enjoy the beauty of open space, either way, you will find a lot of stuff to do.

Multiplayer is working ok, and you may enjoy the game with another player. Gather your crew, with their unique skills, put them into the spacecraft, and go. The story behind is not something hard to get. You have a standard evil guy who wants to rule the world and you the only one who can stop him.

Meanwhile, your options are limited only by your own imagination. You can find ancient bases, towers, fight for them and claim they are yours. Use the lethal weapon of your ship on the enemies.

Controls 5/5

Navigation is simple and usual for such games. And since the game can be a little bit repetitive, it is easy to learn everything. There are left and right analog sticks that are used for control and movements, right and left-mounted weapons controlled by triggers.

Loadout responds to the Pause screen, while the same button with Starmap is for a menu with more options for players who like to change spaceships, pilots, arsenal, wings.

Replay Value 4.5/5

In accordance with Starlink: Battle for Atlas Review, it is a highly addictive game. After one battle, you want to repeat it with other pilots on other ship.  There is hardly enough time to explore all the planets you want.

While it is repetitive, it is still entertaining. One campaign can take up to twenty hours. And there is still something new to try. People, who don’t afraid to go for the similar tasks, can be rewarded with a new experience. There are still some secret locations and bonuses in the game.

Conclusion

This game has everything you want from space shooter and RPG. The heroes are interesting to play with, ships can be upgraded up to your taste, and landscapes are fantastic. Besides, there is a merch with your favorite characters.

Build your own strategy for a game, explore the unusual environment and save the galaxy. After that come back again, change the whole strategy and characters. Enjoy graphics and go for adventures that are waiting for you.
