This stride has proven successful. However, a few months down the line, things have gone awry leading to persistent toxic fog and erratic weather as well as the appearance of unknown creepy toxic creatures called the Breeds.
World governments deployed the military and other law enforcement agents to maintain order as well as protect civilians. However things get out of hand, with safe zones created across the world to safeguard the surviving civilians.
