Light-hearted and fun. Did you expect to hear such metaphors about a vehicular destruction game? Turbo Dismount is exactly the game which we can describe with such words. It’s a sequel to the popular 2014 release Stair Dismount. For all who loved the latter title, Turbo Dismount becomes a perfect finding. Ready to find out all the details of this upbeat, comical, and somehow odd game? Let’s go!
Graphics — 4.5/5
Turbo Dismount has a pretty decent graphics pierced with the unique retro spirit. Bright colors, vivid lines, and smooth images — all marked with a pixelated retro touch. 3D models and a pastel color theme add even more cuteness to the visual performance of the game.
Of course, it may be not the best variant for those who prefer top-notch visuals. But it is good enough for those who value the exclusive game atmosphere.
Moreover, Turbo Dismount is graphically improved comparing with its prequel. More distinct imagery is used here: not as realistic, as it could be, but still satisfactory.
Gameplay — 4/5
Turbo Dismount is a kind of physics sandbox. From the very beginning, you’ve got an opportunity to choose a character, his vehicle, and the driving options like speed, camera angle, driver’s position, and so on. When all of the options are chosen, your driving journey starts.
You can choose between Mr. Heft, Mr. Ego, Ms. Dismount or Mr. Dismount as well and drive a delivery van, a trailer truck or a Token Bird. Each of these vehicles is handled another way. So you will need to figure out how everything about handling them for getting the best experience.
When riding, you aim to collect the damage points. It happens when you pass different obstacles successfully. The more obstacles you surpass, the more earns you achieve.
Sometimes there will be car crashes which you can reconstruct with the replay options. These crashes are not realistic; otherwise, they are fun to watch.
One more cool feature of the Turbo Dismount game is the opportunity to put on your own photo on the character’s face. This is another option to get even more fun from playing.
You can’t play free this game or try its demo online. But believe us, Turbo Dismount worths every dollar you pay for it.
Controls — 3/5
Turbo Dismount cannot be named a genuinely engaging game. After passing a few obstacles, you will be entirely ready for the others.
Anyway, there are some things you can change to make each round a little bit different. For example, you can choose from a wide variety of obstacles and determining the type of motorized device that your character will be driving. The driving speed and the camera angle can also be modified due to your needs.
And regarding the primary game activities, we may say that the controls are not entirely sufficient for this genre of the game.
Replay Value — 4.5/5
Turbo Dismount can be replayed for many times as there are a lot of customizable options. So every time you play, you can set different obstacles, use various vehicles, and sometimes even endow the main character with own face.
By the way, the developers constantly release new levels and courses to make you engaged for longer. With the brand new settings and obstacles, replaying Turbo Dismount is truly interesting.
You will enjoy this game if you are a fan of the unmatched physics and vintage graphics. You will like Turbo Dismount even more if you prefer funny and light-hearted games that give you an opportunity to laugh sincerely while playing.
You can also compare Turbo Dismount to a comic cartoon with an option to manage the main character.
Replay Value 4.5
Decent title for its price
