About this game:

Western Fantasy is an unconventional open world pixel sand carving RPG game, which focuses on "free exploration" and "spiritual confrontation".

The so-called spiritual confrontation means that in the game, you have many ways to become stronger and pass the customs, including but not limited to: collecting powerful weapons, treasure hunting, dueling, gambling, fighting with NPC, looting, and even card bugs.

Because the author was deeply poisoned by the Zelda series, he adhered to the principle of independence from the small monster to the Boss in the fight design. They were either very smart or very cheap

In the design of weapons and skills, try to maintain functional differentiation and reduce the number of skin changes.

The theme is the western world of post-modern science fiction, but it is also a mixture of exotic cultures from all over the world and some cultural elements with the author's brain opening (I think it is interesting).

The artistic style is very rough. Although the author has taught himself 800 hours of Asprite pixel painting, he has no artistic skills.

In terms of music, the author made three BGM songs confidently and carefully selected (mixed) dozens of free music. Some players commented that it was a piece of shit, and forced the author to join the function T T of closing BGM.

About the development progress of the official version:

It is tentatively planned to complete the development in June 2023, and there are many new things. There will be weapons, enemies, bosses, plots and maps.

There are also some vulnerability optimizations in EA versions, such as secondary mini maps.
