Automation Empire specs are pretty humble. And in return you get exactly what you expect from a "modest" game: crude, a bit rough indie-styled visuals. The game looks immensely industrial, maybe a bit USSR-like so to say. There will be brutal and giant factories, trucks, mining towers, etc. This game surely means business!

E.g., Rocky Hills arena is set amidst grim rocks, cliffs and forests with its location set probably somewhere in Connecticut or North Carolina. Automation Empire game doesn't feel static though. On the contrary: once your enterprise is deployed, your factory will turn into a beehive, with every unit working non-stop like a clockwork ninja.

This Automation Empire review can assure you that it's a management sim at its finest. Challenging, but not too difficult. Though, you'll have to put in some blood and sweat to make your enterprise bloom and blossom. Your objectives will include:

• Digging tunnels;
• Building roads;
• Erecting a power station;
• Setting up transfer stations;
• Mining resources in the colored areas;
• Building a drone factory to load trucks with cargo, etc.

And not to mention refineries, research labs to unlock recipes, mine carts, and so on. At first you'll be a bit confused with the infrastructure/upgrade options and all this business pandemonium in general. But after you learn the basics, money-making will become easier. Remember: the key to success here is properly (and creatively) organized logistics.

Manipulating things in Automation Empire gameplay is easy. Just like in any strategy you choose a construction, select an area where it should be built and voilà — your evil business empire has got one more tentacle. Drones can be controlled via mouse as well. The rest of the job will be done by your trucks and droids automatically.

Automation Empire is a perfect game for those enthusiasts who like planning, architecting and managing. The game has zero action — there's nothing to fight over except proper organization and stable profits. But if you are Henry Ford at heart — this game is definitely for you.
