Autonauts
Autonauts is a new charming blocky adventure indie game by Denki and Curve Digital. It offers you to experience colonizing numerous planets and taming nature using the limitless powers of automation. In Autonauts, you can fo fishing, cook your favorite meals, tailor, and many more things. To download Autonauts for your Windows PC, visit Steam.
Graphics – 5/5
Autonauts game presents a smooth, bright universe with toylike objects and blocky terrains. It’s not as square as Minecraft, it has much sharper textures, and avoids blurry sprites entirely. At first sight, Autonauts latest version may look like a game for children, but that’s the case when the first impression is wrong. This world is so rich, vivid, and detailed that you won’t believe your eyes. This low-poly art style is relaxing and cheering so that you can play the game to have some rest and recharge.
Gameplay – 4.5/5
Autonauts gameplay has plenty of original mechanics. The most surprising one it the active use of visual programming. It provides you with a wide range of opportunities for coding workbots to make them complete repetitive tasks for you. The mechanic itself is quite simple but gains complexity as you progress farther. Using a wide range of upgrading modules, you can expand the list of capabilities of the robots and take your colonies to the new level. The opportunities are literally endless. As for a brand new game, Autonauts shows an excellent quality of optimization. Although Autonauts system requirements are pretty high for such visuals, it runs well on medium-end machines.
Controls – 5/5
Autonauts creative simulator game has pretty simple and responsive controls, which require you to have a mouse and keyboard. Unfortunately, the current build doesn’t support gamepads, but we hope it will be added with patches later on. It’s an unhurried experience, so a controller must be a convenient option.
Replay Value – 4/5
Autonauts full game offers you a boundless world to explore. It hides hundreds of elements for crafting and many options to make progress. On the other hand, Autonauts is still a single-player experience for some reason. This title must go online to expand the player base and spread wider.
The Bottom Line
If you still wondering whether to get this game or not, you’d better do. It’s exceptionally fun and inventive the way it makes you face challenges very naturally. The unique programming mechanics put it in a row with Satisfactory and other automation simulators. However, the visual difference is huge, so Autonauts may become your choice due to the relaxed atmosphere and peaceful quests. Share this Autonauts review with friends if you enjoy the title.
