Code Vein is an action role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco Studios. But the publisher of Code Vein game is Bandai Namco Entertainment. This action game is only an upcoming title. The release date is planned to be September 27. Code Vein coming out Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. On Steam, you can check the latest update and download Code Vein on the computer.

Graphics 5/5

The game has excellent graphics. It is obvious that the developers invested a sufficient amount of time in creating visuals. There are a lot of various animations and effects. The landscapes look very realistic. All the characters are unique and differ from each other. For now, there are only the screenshots of the game because the Code Vein full version will be available only at the end of September.

Gameplay 5/5

Code Vein gameplay describes the nearest future after the apocalypse. No one knows what exactly happened, but the world that we knew changed in a moment. At the center of this disaster is Vein, a hidden community of Revenants. They live in a world where all the survivors are frightening for their lives. It is dangerous and bloodthirsty time. There are vampire theme and other supernatural abilities that you can use to survive. Sometimes you need to cooperate, and sometimes you need to be very aggressive.

The Code Vein review showed that the game is an open-world meaning that you can freely explore the landscapes and new territories. The title is played only from a third-person perspective. As the developers said, they were inspired by the Dark Souls series of games that was also published by them. It was a very unusual choice to combine the anime graphics and culture with the vampires and post-apocalyptic dystopian. Could you survive in the new world? There is the main question of the gameplay.

Controls 5/5

Controls are the ways you can interact with the game. Note, that Code Vein is only available on PC and consoles; therefore, you can play with a keyboard and a mouse. In spite of this, the developers mentioned that the best way to play the game is with a gamepad. You can find all the commands on the official game’s site, but, at the same time, users can customize and change them any time in the Settings tab.

Replay Value 4/5

One of the game’s advantages is that it has a multiplayer mode. As a result, you can play the game with your friends and have fun together. It is difficult to predict the result of each round. Otherwise, if you play in a single-player mode, it is not so intriguing to repeat the level or starting Code Vein from the beginning because you have already familiar with all traps and challenges.

The Bottom Line

Code Vein is an action role-playing game. You can pre-purchase it on Steam. The official release date is September 27. It is planned to release the versions for Microsoft Windows. Play Station 4, and Xbox One. The game supports 11 languages including French, Spanish, and Italian. It has excellent graphics and two modes: a single-player and a multiplayer. Code Vein is a paid game and costs approximately $32. You can download the latest version on Steam.
