Graphics – 5/5

Disco Elysium latest version is a piece of art that deserves a place at an exhibition. The entire city, with all its diverse locations, is outstandingly worked and detailed. It’s a pleasure for eyes to discover every new district, flat, bar, and others. The quality of action scenes is also excellent, sending us back to times when Desperados was a great hit.

Gameplay – 5/5

Disco Elysium gameplay is based on a complex dialogue system that makes you feel like playing real-life scenarios. You are free to make bargains, sing karaoke, get drunk and dance, sweet-talk to criminals to fool them, write hilarious poems, or just punch the bastard in the face. It’s always up to you. RPG elements include a roster of numerous costume items, guns, flashlights, boomboxes, and, why not, several potions with psychoactive beverages. At the same time, you can get and develop 24 detective skills, each of which affects the gameplay and even the story. In the open world, you can go wherever you want, talk to anyone you see, fall in love with maneaters, and do a bunch of other stuff at your own will. Although you’re a fat-bottom detective, you still can change your life and become a millionaire. The game is full of crimes, sex, alcohol, high taxes, and booming disco.

Disco Elysium game gameplay involves mechanics that are difficult to port to play on devices without keyboard and mouse. Perhaps, that’s one of the reasons for it being available only on Windows. All interactions are mainly point-and-click, so a mouse it the best controller for now. We still hope that the Disco Elysium PC game will come to other platforms too. Disco Elysium system requirements make it possible to invade Nintendo Switch one day. 

Replay Value – 5/5

Disco Elysium full game is a heaven for fans of freedom in RPGs. Every decision you make is important. Even the clothes you wear have their meaning. Finally, this game is a genial creation, so it’s exciting to replay it more than once to try different scenarios.

This game can really speak for itself without words. Just look at all its awards and ranks. Every major gaming website, including PCGamer, USG, IGN, Eurogames, and others, gave Disco Elysium from 90 to a whopping 96 points. It even got to major newspapers and tabloids.
