Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is a space shooter with astonishing scenery of new worlds that players have to explore and protect. Our planet is occupied with new enemy Red Legion, and the last free city has fallen. Now you have to be a Guardian, learn new skills, get a weapon and fight the evil, after downloading Destiny 2.

Graphics in this game are brilliant. When you are running through Dreaming City to hunt for secrets and treasures, just stop for a second and look around, enjoy astonishing views. And don’t forget to collect treasures after.

In the Destiny 2 review, it must be repeated again that the game is a mix of adventure and shooter, so both of these genres add the atmosphere to the graphics.  There are bright colors everywhere, 8 new worlds, cool shooting effects. Everything is made to entertain players and to lure them into deeper map research. Cutscenes are the best, full of drama and excellent talents of actors behind characters. Gina Torres speaks from Ikora, and Zavala is played by Lance Reddick.

The main quest in the game is to win the city back and kill Dominus Ghaul, the evilest creature on earth. But it is not all. The game is stuffed with multiple options for players, like PvP fights, Public Events, bosses, harder to kill with every new level, treasure hunting, exotic quests, vanguard missions, Nightfall, Strikes. In the end, there will be one of the most complex and hardest tasks – Leviathan Raid.

The game was made both for playing solo and as a team. You can unite with your friends in one team, and go on a mission. Besides the main quest which is adjusting to your progress, you can take part in side quests. All of them are good possibilities to master your skills and receive treasures.

There are so many things in the game you have to do, that it distracts from the mainline. Following bigger loot, you can totally forget about your purpose and get lost for a couple of days. Good thing though, is that you never get bored in Destiny 2. Anyway, these side quests and battles help you to get to the max level, which is 350th, according to the tip on the menu.

Controls 4.5/5

It does not take a lot of time to learn how to navigate your character. It looks the same in many other shooters. Simply press L to move, and R to look, L3 if you want to sprint, D-Pad Right if you in a mood to dance. The last option will come in handy after you kill the biggest boss.

Press Options if you want to call the Menu, and TouchPad for a Game Status. In the game you can do everything, from running, jumping, attacking, sitting, dancing and waving.  Many gamers, that already tried Destiny 2, believe it was made just for PC, and call it the most enjoyable experience. Meanwhile, developers updated the content and made it available for all platforms. Now there is no big difference in the quality of the game no matter where you are playing.

Replay Value 5/5

Destiny 2 is the not “one-victory” game. Even after passing the main quest, there are other quests to complete. Besides that, choosing a new Guardian to play with makes everything different.

Multiple numbers of options is a guarantee for you to come back. If the first time you decided to play alone, the next time can be with your friends. This is a unique shooter with much more entertainment than shooting itself. Raids are competitive and challenging, and maybe you want to train harder before you run into the last trial.

Conclusion

Destiny 2 is everything you wanted to see in a shooter and even more. The excellent combination of the wisely produced story we actually can buy, and action. The game is rewarding after each challenge you pass, and with nice loot worth to fight for.

And while it takes some time to go to the next level, you will not even notice it. There are some minor bugs in the game which usually normal for huge masterpieces like it, but developers are fixing it. Destiny 2 sounds like a promise and we can hardly wait to see in what it will evolve.
