Guts & Glory is unrealistically fun and simultaneously complex sandbox. It’s an arcade flight simulator with crazy levels created by amateurs and developers. You’ll get a vast arsenal of weapons, ramps, accelerations, and other things which give you the opportunity to develop the ideal track and load it for everyone to see.
Ride your vehicle through the lethal tracks and escape the fatal blows to complete all game levels.
Graphics — 4.5/5
The graphics of the game are performed at a decent level. Though you won’t experience the wow-effect, you will be satisfied with the visual performance of the Guts & Glory game.
Moreover, there are plenty of interface elements that are going to wonderstruck you. These are rotating blades, the falling wooden logs, and many other things that take the brutality on the brand new level of visualization. These bloody elements and various environments like highways, woods, and so on can be seen clearly even with the game’s low-resolution graphics.
In all the game details, you will see destruction and partition which are perfectly supplemented by the particular sound effects.
Gameplay — 4.5/5
Judging by the first levels, you may think that the game is pretty simple. But as the game progresses, it becomes more complicated. Players are encouraged to test their skills in the dark, at altitude, under fire, and other obstacles like the emerging blades, and so on.
So the goal is to ride along the road through a chain of checkpoints, avoiding obstacles, traps, mines and other mucks laid out under your feet. Taking control of an awkward and ridiculous hero, as a couple on a bicycle tandem or an elderly grandfather with an old woman on a trailer, you, battling with the environment, the camera and the responsiveness of the buttons, aim for the finish.
The task is not a piece of cake due to the complexity of many episodes and completely insane physics. To foresee how the character is going to react to another landing from the hill is just impossible. In most of the cases, you will find your poor fellow turning into mincemeat after all these attempts.
Cruelty and violence are the most important Guts and Glory features which bring you a kind of sick pleasure from the process. When your character accidentally loses his foot and leaves a long trace on the track because of bleeding, you just can’t get your eyes off this amusing scene.
Controls — 3.5/5
The game controls are apparently the main drawback of Guts and Glory. Their complexity multiplied by the crazy physics that can drive you mad. All your attempts to manage the vehicles are painful. You can just lightly press the turn button and thus be thrown to an unknown place.
You need to master the controls perfectly because Guts and Glory is a physics-driven game in which skillful maneuvering can save your life. So be careful and escape the attacks.
Replay Value — 4.5/5
Guts and Glory is such a crazy game regarding its physics that it is equally challengeable whether you play it for the first time or replaying. So it will attract you for a long time for sure.
However, you will notice the same game patterns from time to time. So the game may appear repetitive after a few sessions. If that happened, take a break and then come back again once in a while for getting a portion of some crazy good action.
You should keep in mind, that the game is full of bloodshed and destruction. If you are a fan of such a bloody genre, then you already found a decent title for your collection.
Guts and Glory is not only violent but fun as well. Except for partition and destruction the game brings the player a lot of moments to laugh. Moreover, all your actions like steering, controlling, dealing damage, and making destruction appear realistic and exciting.
You won’t find Guts and Glory unblocked demo, so you need to buy it. You can make a purchase on Steam or at the official site. We promise that you won’t regret any dollar spent on this game!
