Scrap Mechanic is a game for those who were fond of playing with LEGOs in their childhood. It’s a perfect one for expressing your creativity. You should also try it if you need to develop your imagination.
So, what is this game about? Scrap Mechanic is a multiplayer sandbox where you have to apply your skills as a creator of anything possible. You’ll find yourself in a new world where you engineer own adventures.
You will have dozens of building parts at your disposal. What to build? Anything you want from weird transforming vehicles to moving houses. Try to create some inventive cars, motorbikes, rockets, or airplanes. Team up with your friends to make this process even funnier and construct these fantastic things together.
The game boasts good graphics and well-designed physics, but they are not entirely faultless. You will be surrounded by the wild forests and plains. But as an engineer, you’ll start building, crafting, and filling this green world with machines.
After you lose control of the spacecraft, it crashes. But being a lucky one, you survive. However, you’re in a difficult situation — to stay alive, you have to use your quick thinking and creativity. Try to turn the surroundings to your advantage.
Here’s some information about your personality in Scrap Mechanic: you’re a robot maintenance mechanic who works at creating a fully-automated agriculture planet. At the beginning, you choose the mechanic’s gender — male or female. You will supervise the worker robots who are working the land and producing food and send this food to the metropolitan planets.
The game offers you the creative mode. Playing it, you get an infinite amount of details to experiment with. You will be able to build freely without the threat of being killed on the terrain without limitations.
The details and parts in Scrap Mechanic are unique, have various shapes and sizes. There are more than a hundred of them, providing you the ability to create anything you can imagine.
There is nothing hard about the controls in Scrap Mechanic. Maybe you’ll be surprised, but you have to use a mouse to control the camera view and keyboard to relocate the character. You can check your Mechanics Handbook which is always with you and ready to help when you can’t understand something. Read it at your leisure and quickly learn the basics of building on the go.
Now, let’s mention the tools. You’ll get a connect tool which is essential for each true mechanic. This tool brings all the parts together and makes the magic happen. To lift you and the thing you created higher, use the lift. It lightens the load when constructing things with physics in mind. Using the sledgehammer, you’ll watch the objects fly. It’s incredibly entertaining to smack the physics around with such a hammer.
