Goat Simulator is an indie simulator that gives you an unforgettable experience to feel yourself a goat. Your main goal, as a goat, is to destroy everything you see on your way. Be as creative as possible, and as destructive as you can, after you download Goat Simulator.

Graphics 4/5

Graphics are not the masterpiece, but it is still pretty realistic. The goat could definitely look better, especially when it is you. Still, the game is all about fun and no regrets, as we need to underline in this Goat Simulator review.

Apart from mass chaos that goat brought to the world, it looks good and bright. Things that are flying in the air have never flown so high and has fire never looked brighter. The design is simple as probably it should be, as developers created it unpolished and with bugs on purpose.

Gameplay 4.5/5

The thing about “being a goat” game is that there is no actual purpose. All you have to do is having fun by revealing your true nature. Or not. Well… you can try to create an army of goats, if you want, send them to the missions and so on. But, you will miss the whole fun.

The main purpose here… the thing that you can actually do and receive points, is to throw things up, destroy furniture, break windows, set the house on fire, blow something up. After this game, you will never look at goats the same.

The map will help you with the places you can ruin completely. There is a china shop behind the corner and a gas station you can explode. There are some alternate modes which give you more space to be as harmful as possible and impossible.

All primary laws of physics are broken here for your joy. Now you can fly as high as no one imagined, kick everything so hard it can break a wall, throw a plate from a window onto the car and watch it explode. Still, buildings could be more destructible. Oh, and you can’t die in the game! Good news!

Controls 4/5

It is not easy to estimate this game in general, and especially its navigation system. It was made as buggy as possible on purpose. That means that the problem you can experience with clipping and urgent need to respawn the menu once you stuck in the well or different object is exactly where it should be.

While the navigation is standard here, you will have to press F a lot, if you really want to enjoy slow motion. Just stare on the track until it hits you or watch amazing explosion you caused on the gas station. Free fly into space is hilarious to watch in that mode.

Another good one is watching the goat on the remote. It is like everything you wanted to see but did not dare. If it is not enough to push 1 key to hear all the noises goat can utter.

Replay Value 5/5

The game does not make any sense at all. So it is still a mystery why you want to come back there again and again. But it is true.  While the graphics look plain and primitive, goat is definitely angry and stupid, and there are so many bugs, people get stuck in walls, there is something attractive that does not let you go.

Possibly, this is because you miss the simplicity of life as a goat. So go and be one. There are no limits in the game. Play as long as you are happy. Then take a nap. Then come back for more.

Conclusion

Maybe Goat Simulator is not the greatest game to play, but it definitely a nice entertainment. You will find tons of jokes which are not hard to understand, hilarious bugs and new ways to express yourself. Release your inner goat and crush everything you see!

Try the game in a company with your friends. It is a perfect time to be goofing around. All the ridiculous situations that happen with you as a goat can’t be found in any other game.
