Pokemon Go is one of the most played mobile games in history, created by Niantic, Inc. It’s an AR-powered collectible and fighting game, in which you have to collect Pokemon and fight with opponents whom you meet on the street or online. Download Pokemon Go for your iOS or Android device and try to find all the creatures in your city!

Graphics 5/5

The Pokemon Go game goes higher than any 3D graphics engine can go. It enables your phone or tablet camera to work as a Pokemon scanner so that you can search for them around your real environment. The 3D models look beautiful and fully represent the legendary creatures and trainers from the eponymous anime series. In the battle mode, both animations and effects look gorgeous. Every fight looks as dramatic as in the anime, so it’s always exciting to watch.

Gameplay 5/5

Pokemon Go gameplay combines several genres. The AR exploration mode is a unique invention that allowed developers to expand the game and mix it with the real-life of players. At the same time, the AR is mixed with a collectible game. You can collect over 500 basic and rare species, upgrade them, and exchange with others. The next great mode stands alone from AR and lets you test your mighty magical pets on famous virtual arenas from the original series. You can unite several Pokemon to create a team and upgrade it to be more competitive during battles. Finally, you can squad up with your friends to organize raids for legendary Pokemon. It’s hard to capture them, but together you may work it out, win, and benefit. It’s exciting to play Pokemon Go free AR experience even if you know nothing about the anime universe. Due to a unique mixture of catchy creatures and AR gameplay, it rapidly gained popularity amongst over 600 million players all around the world.

Controls 5/5

It’s hard to compare Pokemon Go latest version controls to any other game as it features unique gameplay mechanics. Fightings include several types of swiping, tapping, and quick-time events. In the catching mode, you have to walk or drive around the city to find and capture the Pokemon with your camera. It can be even dangerous sometimes, so be careful!

Replay Value 5/5

Pokemon Go full game is extremely difficult to complete as it includes over 500 species that are rather difficult to find. While we were making this Pokemon Go review, we found 2 Pokemon in the office building, while the 3rd one was in the center of the lake in the local park! Hopefully, we’ll try to rent a boat at the weekend and catch it.

The Bottom Line

On a scale of one to 100, Pokemon Go hits around 95 points. You can either avoid playing it at all or try it once and find yourself trying to catch the next pet in the place where you’ve never been before. It’s one of a kind AR experience that manages to combine perfect sensor work with immersive gameplay.
