At the same time, they reworked every tiny texture and object so that you can experience this wonderful classic strategy on your large gaming display. You can play The Roman Republic under the command of Julius Caesar, the Ptolemaic Kingdom army, or Barbarian tribes that include Celts, Gauls, and Helvetti nationalities. You have to build garrisons and train your army units. Every faction has its unique classes of units that can develop special traits and skills. You can also use the environment of every location in your strategy to fool the opponent. The roster of units includes cavalry, infantry, archers, builders, heavy infantry, spearers, and more.

Similarly to the original game, in Praetorians - HD Remaster latest version, you can perform all actions with a mouse. However, you can also mock keyboard shortcuts to become quicker. Sometimes, the speed of reaction is very important in strategy games. Partial controller support is implemented too, but it’s a rather useless feature for a top-down strategy game.
